Hali Schultheiss, APRN, FNP-C

An Independence native, Hali grew up in Independence and graduated from Independence High School. After high school, Hali went on to nursing school, graduating with the inaugural nursing class at Coffeyville Community College.

While working as a Registered Nurse (RN), Hali continued her education, earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing and a Master’s of Science in Nursing- Education from Oklahoma Wesleyan University. She then went on to obtain a Post-Master’s Certificate- Family Nurse Practitioner from Bradley University.

Her nursing background is diverse, having worked in the Med-Surg, Observation, Intensive Care, Emergency, and Surgery departments. Upon becoming an APRN, Hali began work in pediatrics and then ultimately family practice where she worked as the sole provider in a small rural health clinic touching the lives of many with her welcoming spirit and listening ears.

As an FNP, Hali has obtained additional certifications as a Certified BioTE Hormone Provider, a Certified Cosmetic Injector, and Certified Laser Technician having trained at the National Laser Institute. With the desire to continue promoting wellness with a holistic approach, Hali has completed multiple hours of continuing medical education in dermatology, nutrition, medical aesthetics, hormone replacement therapy, and functional health.

Hali is the mother to three children, and they are proud to call Independence home. Together, they love cruising, being outdoors, participating in family traditions, and finding joy in all that life has to offer. Hali loves Independence and is proud to bring services never before offered to the community she calls home with the goal of promoting wellness form the inside out.

Lauren Rinck

esthetician & Certified Laser Technician

As a dedicated Licensed Esthetician, Lauren brings a passion for skincare and a commitment to enhancing natural beauty through advanced treatments. With nearly a decade of experience in the field, Lauren specializes in providing personalized skincare solutions that cater to individual needs and concerns. Lauren believes that everyone deserves to feel confident in their skin, and is dedicated to helping individuals achieve that confidence through safe skincare solutions.

Her journey in esthetics began with an interest in advanced treatments and skincare science. Lauren holds certifications in a range of skincare techniques, including laser treatments, chemical peels, microneedling, and more allowing her to offer high quality procedures that rejuvenate and revitalize the skin, helping our patients achieve their aesthetic goals safely and effectively.

Outside of her professional practice, Lauren loves doing anything outdoors, going on hikes with her dog, thrifting, playing volleyball, and simply spending time with friends and family.

Monique joined Brio in March 2025 as the Spa Coordinator, bringing her passion for patient care and new experiences to the team. In addition to her role as Spa Coordinator, Monique also assists medically.

Monique is known for her cheery personality and desire to provide compassionate care to all of those she encounters!
